World of Overwatch - PvE RPG Grind Mode v2.1 (by Delwion#2667):

1-6 players must defeat regular enemies, champions, and bosses to earn XP! With every additional level, players get more powerful and gain a certain amount of Ability Points they can spend on useful passive abilities. But enemies get stronger as well. Choose your preferred hunting zone (difficulty) and grind your way up to the highest levels. Will you have the time and skill it takes to beat the legendary level 100 boss in 90 minutes?

Most important instructions:

Inside the Hearthstone tavern, press Interact near an ability icon to gain a level in that ability.

Press Interact outside of the tavern, to cast a town portal spell.

Team 1: Medium Bots: Bastion, McCree, Mei, Reaper, Roadhog, Soldier: 76

Team 2: 1-6 Players

For Hard Mode, set AI difficulty to hard instead.

For Easy Mode, set AI difficulty to easy :)

  • Players now begin the game with 10 Ability Points which allow them to upgrade one base ability right after joining.
  • Fixed a bug from the previous version that wouldn't give healers their bonus XP anymore.
  • The town portal spell will more reliably be cancelled when a player dies now.
  • Fixed a bug that would despawn regular enemies when they fell into a pit without granting contributors any XP if no damage role player had dealt damage to that enemy.
  • Changed cooldowns for boss radius effects: Fire boss: 1 second Frost boss: 1 second Poison boss: 1.25 seconds Lightning/Shock boss: 1 second
  • Removed freeze status effect from Frost boss radius effect.
  • Removed stun status effect from Lightning/Shock boss radius effect.
  • Reduced radius of Lightning/Shock boss radius effect (knockback).
  • Changed cooldown of boss explosion effects: Poison boss: 1.25 seconds
  • Increased cooldown to 1 second for Critical, Burn, Freeze, and Damage Over Time On Crit/Hit abilities.
  • Critical now deals 6.5% of enemy health prior to hit as damage (instead of 5%).
  • Burn On Hit now deals twice the amount of damage it did before every time it is applied.
  • Added additional areas in which respawning is blocked.

  • Slightly increased the XP gained from defeating high level enemies to make it easier to get near level 100 in 90 minutes.
  • Improved the way the game determines players' current hunting areas.
  • Added additional areas that are blocked for spawning and adjusted the position of existing blocked areas.
  • The game often crashed about 70-80 minutes in (before reaching the limit of 90 minutes). Adjusted the XP gain rules (better performance) in hope that this will prevent the crashes from happening.
